This time is all about building strong relationships. The win is that students are known, learning, and developing a faith of their own. These questions are to simply serve as conversation starters.

Your Goal as a Leader
The goal of the questions is to guide the conversation, engage students, have them share about the topics, and create a full environment. It's okay if you don't get to every question, as long as students are interacting and involved in group time.
Week One | August 12-13
1. If you received news that completely changed your plans for the future, who would be the first person you would tell, and why?
2. The word “gospel” means “Good News.” How would you explain the Gospel to someone using your own words?
Leader Tip: Help students identify the essential parts of the Gospel: humanity’s sin separates us from God, Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and salvation is available through faith in Him.
3. Second Corinthians 5:17 says that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. What are some changes people should begin to see as someone grows closer to Jesus?
4. John Newton’s encounter with God’s grace changed the direction of his life. What makes it difficult for people to believe that God can forgive their past and give them a new future?
5. The message explained that Jesus has changed history, transforms individual lives, and will one day return. Which of those truths affects the way you think about the Gospel the most, and why?
6. If the Gospel really changes everything, who is one person in your life who needs to hear this Good News, and what is one step you can take to share it with them this week?
Leader Tip: Ask students to identify a specific person and practical action, such as praying for them, starting a conversation, sharing their story, or inviting them to CFStudents.
Week Two | August 19-20
1. If you had to complete an important mission and could bring only three items or people with you, what would you choose?
2. What fears or insecurities can make students feel unqualified to talk about Jesus?
Leader Tip: Create room for honest answers without immediately correcting them. Students may mention rejection, embarrassment, difficult questions, hypocrisy, or feeling like they do not know enough.
3. The message says God equips us with His Word, His Spirit, and His people. How does each one help us share the Gospel?
4. A quarterback can hear instructions from the coach through a speaker in his helmet. How does that illustration help you understand the Holy Spirit’s role when you feel nervous or unsure of what to say?
5. Jesus sent His disciples out in pairs instead of making them go alone. Who are the people God has placed around you who could pray with you, encourage you, or help you reach others?
Leader Tip: Encourage students to think beyond their closest friends. Their support could include small-group leaders, parents, siblings, teammates, or other believers at their school.
6. Which resource do you need to lean into more right now—the Word of God, the Spirit of God, or the people of God—and what is one specific way you will do that this week?
Week Three | August 26-27
1. If someone could only learn what you believe by watching how you lived this past week, what would they assume is most important to you?
Leader Tip: Keep this from becoming a conversation about judging other people. Redirect students toward examining whether their own words, attitudes, and actions consistently represent Jesus.
3. James 2:17 says that faith without works is dead. What is the difference between trying to earn salvation through good works and allowing good works to become evidence of genuine faith?
4. Jesus teaches us to serve with love, give with joy, and pray in power. Which of these three areas comes most naturally to you, and which one needs the most growth?
5. When you think about giving your time, talents, or treasures, which one is hardest for you to give generously, and what makes it difficult?
Leader Tip: Some students may not earn money yet. Help them consider generosity through their possessions, attention, abilities, encouragement, and willingness to serve.
6. What is one intentional action you can take this week to help someone experience the Gospel through the way you live?
Week Four | September 2-3
1. What part of tonight’s testimonies stood out to you the most, and why do you think it caught your attention?
Leader Tip: Invite students to recall a specific moment, statement, or decision rather than simply saying that the entire story was good.
2. Tonight we heard from someone who was invited and someone God used to extend an invitation. What did their stories teach you about the potential impact of one invitation?
3. Romans 10 asks how people can believe in Jesus if they have never heard about Him. Who helped you hear about Jesus or made you feel welcome at church, and how did that person affect your story?
4. What usually makes inviting someone to church or talking about Jesus feel uncomfortable?
5. The message says that God changes hearts while our responsibility is to be faithful, love people well, and point them toward Jesus. How does knowing the results are in God’s hands change the pressure you feel?
6. Who is one person God may be asking you to invite or talk to, and when will you take that step?
Leader Tip: Encourage students to make their response specific. If appropriate, allow the group to pray together for each person named and consider how they can encourage one another throughout the week.
