This Is How They Changed the World | Keep Talking

In this message, Pastor Todd reminded us that generosity isn’t just about money—it’s about reflecting the very nature of God. As we prepare for our Impact Offering next week, keep talking about how to live, give, and love like Jesus.

• What’s something you’ve given—a gift, time, or help—that brought you joy? Why did giving it away feel so good?  

KEEP TALKING

• Pastor Todd said, “Don’t get your God thought from an ungodly place.” Where do you feel like most of your thoughts about God originated from? 
• Read Colossians 3:1 and 2 Corinthians 4:18. Where have you been consumed with what’s temporary lately? How can you set your heart and mind on eternity this week?
• Pastor Todd challenged us to “move up toward God and out toward people.” Which of those is most challenging for you? 
• What’s one practical step you can take this week to move in the right direction?
• Read Matthew 25:35, 36, 40. Jesus said that when we serve others, we’re serving Him. How does that truth change the way you view generosity, service, and compassion?
• What step of faith do you feel God calling you to take that would stretch your trust in Him and help you live with a more generous heart?

KEEP IT GOING

• Next weekend, we’ll come together as a church family for our Impact Offering and Make a Meal outreach to bring tangible help and living hope to people around the world. 
• This week, take time to pray and ask God what He would have you give. Ask Him to align your heart with His, to deepen your trust, and to show you what obedience looks like in this season. Remember, generosity isn’t about an amount—it’s about our hearts reflecting the heart of our Father. Let’s all be all in for what God is all about: loving people, serving the world, and giving so others can know Him.

PRAYER

Father, thank you for showing us what radical generosity looks like. Align our hearts with yours, and make us a people marked by generosity and compassion. As we prepare for the Impact Offering, show us how to give joyfully and sacrificially. Set eternity in our hearts and use our gifts to change lives and build your Kingdom. Amen.
