Complete in Christ: Freedom That Isn’t Partial | Keep Talking
Free Indeed | Week 2
Christ Fellowship Team
October 5, 2025
In this message, our friend, Charlotte Gambill, continued the “Free Indeed” series by reminding us that Jesus didn’t die for us to live partially free lives. Use this guide to keep talking about how to access the full life Jesus died to give us.
SERMON HIGHLIGHTS
- We’re lacking in an area that God paid for, which should bother us.
- We need complete restoration, restitution, and resurrection.
- There are some things we can’t fix until God fixes us.
- We shouldn’t settle for a slice of freedom or a bite of God’s blessings. We should want everything God has for us.
KEY SCRIPTURES
START TALKING
- Charlotte shared a funny story about a customer service experience with Amazon. What’s your worst customer service experience, and how did you respond?
KEEP TALKING
- Charlotte said we’re living with an “incomplete pass” because we haven’t received everything Jesus died to give us. When you think about your life, what do you think you haven’t received yet (e.g., peace, joy, hope, strength, etc.)?
- Read Luke 7:11-16. Who do you identify with most in this story: the mother or the son? Why does their story resonate with you—because you need restoration, restitution, or resurrection?
- What have you stopped asking God to restore or resurrect (e.g., your marriage, family, dreams, career, physical body, etc.)?
- Read Philippians 1:6. How does knowing God isn’t done working in you and for you encourage you to work or pray differently this week?
KEEP IT GOING
- As you fight to be free indeed, memorize and meditate on Scripture this week. Don’t know where to start? Check out these verses we compiled to learn more about your freedom in Christ.
PRAYER
Father, thank you that we find everything we need in you—complete joy and perfect peace. Help us reclaim what the enemy has stolen from us, and please restore the years the locusts have eaten. We don’t want to settle for anything less than what you died to give us. Amen.
